  • Keep a Workout Journal: Write down everything—weights, reps, how you felt after each session. If you’re wearing a fitness tracker, be sure to log your class stats here as well.  Seeing those numbers gradually climb will remind you that the grind is paying off. 
  • Test Your Strength: Challenge yourself with benchmark workouts or max lifts. Tracking how much stronger, faster, or tougher you’ve gotten is the ultimate flex.

  • Measurable: Attach numbers to it. How much, how many, how often—these specifics will let you track your progress and know when you’ve hit your mark.
  • Achievable: Aim high, but keep it real. Your goals should  challenge you to grow without breaking your spirit. For example, if your goal is to try running for the first time, maybe don’t start with the marathon—aim for a 5K first.
  • Relevant: Align your goals with your bigger vision. Want to build endurance? Set goals that get you there, like increasing your strike and footwork speed during kickboxing rounds..
